Academic Integrity Principles of the Saudi Patient Safety Center
  1. The Saudi Patient Safety Center maintains high academic standards and trainees are expected to act in a responsible, honest and consistent manner with the principles of academic integrity, especially when conducting tasks, assignments and tests.
  2. SPSC expects the works submitted by the trainees to be self-developed works to prove their achievement of the training outputs.
  3. The Center provides continuous technical and training guidance and support to the trainees to ensure that they understand the requirements of maintaining academic integrity and not violating it. SPSC expects trainers to apply the principles of academic integrity when presenting enriching educational content and to refer to the references and resources used.
Achieving Academic Integrity
The trainee's use of this platform is an agreement and a pledge to abide by the principles of academic integrity. The center seeks to ensure that the trainees adhere to intellectual property rights and their regulations and copyrights before uploading any content, by checking to reveal the quotation ratios through approved programs, and by giving instructions to the trainees and reminding them to abide by intellectual property rights and copyrights, and referring to the scientific references used to enrich the content of the training course, and notifying them that they bear the responsibility for breaching this and release SPSC from any behavior contrary to this. In the event that it is proven that violating content was uploaded, it will be deleted immediately, and penalties will be applied against those who uploaded it and violated the established policies. >Follow-up on the implementation of the policies by the supervisory authority and by users of the system. Applying provisions for violating academic integrity in accordance with SPSC regulations.
Forms of violation of academic integrity
  1. Cheating: Cheating in training or evaluation activities by any means, attempting to do so, or participating in it, such as using unauthorized sources during tests and assignments, obtaining questions before the educational activity takes place, introducing another person to the test, or presenting the work of others as the work of the trainee.
  2. Impersonation: the trainee pretends to be someone else in synchronized classes or tests.
  3. Forgery: the trainee changing or misleading the information available to him or showing forged documents when performing exams or educational activities.
  4. Stealing the Efforts of Others: Assigning others to perform any electronic tasks or activities requested of the trainee.
  5. Plagiarism: Quoting the work of others, unauthorized use in any training costs, without reference to it.
Disciplinary procedures regarding impersonation and fraud
  1. Canceling the result of an exam, assignment, or anything that is considered a requirement to pass the course or educational activity.
  2. Exclusion from the entire course, without refund.
  3. Temporary or permanent suspension of access to the platform.
  4. Permanent exclusion from SPSC, and not allowing the trainee to register for any future courses or programs.
Judicial reference

By this you agree to submit exclusively to the judicial authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with regard to all claims and disputes that arise from your use of this platform, noting that the Arabic language will be the official language used to resolve any disputes arising from your use of the platform or any of its contents.
